Meet Callum Breslin, the Digital Sales Support Specialist at Poole Audi, who has been creating captivating visual content for Poole Audi since October 2022. His role encompasses a unique blend of imaging new and used vehicles while developing social media and publication content.
As the Digital Sales Support Specialist at Poole Audi, Callum Breslin plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by managing and creating visual content for both new and used vehicles. He is responsible for organising the preparation and photography of used cars, ensuring high-quality imagery is captured and uploaded to multiple sales platforms. This involves coordinating with the valet team and managing the flow of cars to avoid backlogs. For new cars, he handles showroom photography and also uses Audi's 3D system to generate digital images when physical cars aren’t available. Callum ensures the accuracy and visibility of vehicle listings by regularly updating systems and addressing any technical issues. Balancing this with his involvement in marketing projects, Callum's work helps maintain a smooth and visually appealing digital presence for Poole Audi.

 

Callum’s background
Callum’s journey into the world of Audi was anything but typical. With a degree in Film and Visual Effects, specialising in 3D design and animation, Callum initially envisioned a career in the film industry. However, after some time in the field, he realised he craved more creative freedom. The rigid structure of entry-level jobs in film production didn't allow him to leave a significant impact on projects, a constraint he couldn’t ignore. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Callum shifted his focus and merged his passion for cars with his skills in photography and videography. This fusion of interests blossomed into a fresh creative direction, leading him to automotive content creation—a perfect fit for Poole Audi.

 

A memorable project
One of Callum’s most memorable experiences at Poole Audi was his involvement in the "Audi Summer Campaign," a project that sparked his relationship with the marketing team. His early morning photoshoot of three Audi models lined up on Sandbanks Beach for the campaign felt like a pivotal moment. The content, designed to evoke the essence of summer with the backdrop of Bournemouth's iconic seaside, was displayed at the Sandpolo event, embodying the spirit of the local community.

 

Creative freedom
What truly sets Callum apart is his independent and creative mindset. “I thrive on creative freedom,” he says, explaining how he's allowed to bring his own ideas to life alongside his day-to-day duties in supporting the sales team by managing and creating visual content for both new and used vehicles. His inspiration often stems from local surroundings, with many of his photoshoots featuring locations his customers can connect with, emphasising Poole Audi’s identity as a local Audi showroom.
Callum’s work is deeply rooted in storytelling. Whether it’s positioning an Audi A1 by the beach or an A4 All road with a roof rack ready for adventure, his images tell a story of the vehicle as part of the customer’s lifestyle. His goal is to make viewers think, "That could be me." He understands the emotional pull that helps sell cars, blending his visual skills with a keen understanding of customer desires.
Beyond photography, Callum is equally passionate about video production, which he rekindled through projects like Poole Audi’s Christmas ad. This high-production short film showcased not only Callum’s creative vision but also his organisational skills, as he juggled everything from storyboarding to managing actors and locations. The ad garnered significant attention, a proud achievement for Callum and the Poole Audi team.

 

Future plans and favourite Audi
Looking ahead, Callum is excited to keep pushing boundaries in content creation. He enjoys the constantly evolving landscape of digital media and thrives on the opportunity to innovate with new techniques and ideas. His love for the Audi RS5, his favourite car due to its balance of power, style, and practicality, mirrors his approach to content: sleek, grounded, and impactful.

 

Exploring the Thrills of Formula 1 
Outside work, Callum recently took a thrilling dive into the world of motorsport by attending The Formula 1 Exhibition in London. The event, which offers an immersive journey through the past, present, and future of Formula 1, is considered a must-see for both F1 enthusiasts and casual motorsport fans alike.

If you purchase a vehicle, in the majority of cases, we will receive a commission from your lender for introducing you to them which is either a fixed fee, or a fixed percentage of the amount that you borrow. This may be linked to the vehicle model you purchase.

Different lenders pay different commissions for such introductions, and Volkswagen Financial Services UK may also provide preferential rates to us for the funding of our vehicle stock and also provide financial support for our training and marketing. But any such amounts they and other lenders pay us will not affect the amounts you pay under your finance agreement; however, you will be contributing towards the commission paid to us with the interest collected on your repayments. Before we propose you to a potential lender, we will inform you of the likely amount of commission we will receive and seek your consent to receive this commission. The exact amount of commission that we will receive will be confirmed prior to you signing your finance agreement.
